Location Of The Site
The site is located at 4, HARVEY ROAD, YABA, LAGOS.
THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION
Building A Permanent Secretariat For West African College Of Surgeons
SAFETY OFFICE
We Met The Engineer who took us around the site for observation
MACHINERY
There was a CRANE for transferring materials to the top of the building
A temporary power source for the engines
BUILDING COMPONENTS
THE FOUNDATION: It was a pile foundation.
THE COLUMNS: The type of column used was a circular column.
THE WALLS
THE WINDOW AND DOOR OPENINGS
THE SITE OFFICE
The site office was made of MARINE PLY WOOD and AIR CONDITIONS were attached to it.
STORAGE FACILITIES
The storage facility was made of PAN for storing cements, blocks, sand and iron
OTHER THINGS WE SAW ON SITE
* A changing room for the site workers
* An A.C duct/A.C vent
* A netting for preventing debris from entering the neighbors building
* Some CAUTION signs
